Staff were polite and accomodating, there was ample parking and the wifi & breakfast were included in the price of the room
The hotel is very basic, don't expect any frills. The door locks look like something you might find on a cupboard and mine was falling apart. Leaving the hotel at 8:30am leads you to discover a huge traffic jam due to a nearby school; be warned. The price is ok considering what you get, but remember - you get what you pay for.

Staff were friendly but the hotel is in urgent need of a make over. It was dim and looked worn.

Excellent breakfast choices - and plenty of food! Easy to find - good location.
Website gave 21 choices for Evening meal - the menu on the table only had three! However, the food was very hot and plenty of it!

The room was clean, bedding clean, breakfast was very good. Staff where polite but there could smile, we have been here before and would come back again.
The stairs where difficult for my husband who is 73 but I should have requested a room on the ground floor.

perfect spot for parks and museums during your city strolls
I loved how this hotel was just a less than a 5-minute walk from both Palmer Park and the Museum of Reading, making my weekend city strolls super enjoyable and convenient as I explored the green space and local culture.

The price and location for a Graduation ceremony at University. Apart from the surley recetionist, the staff were bright and helpful. The food was tasty but simple. Breakfast was a fast service. For a cheap one night easy access to the centre of town it was satisfactory.
Although the linen and towels were spotlessley clean, the room was shabby with pealing paint, broken furniture, missing light bulbs. The tea and coffee facilities were at floor level requiring one to kneel on the floor to use. The wash basin was cracked and the shower sealant was mouldy. The general decor of the hotel was of poor quality, and generally green. The overall impression was poor from the start when we had to register in a lined notebook! It was a twin room, not a double room.

Hit up Top Table for some lush sandwiches, mate! The locals know their grub, and I found some hidden gems around the corner. The WiFi was decent, too-no buffering while you scroll through the 'gram!
But oh boy, that place needs a proper scrub! Smells like old socks, and the stained carpets don't help. I was praying for daylight to escape this dungeon!

The hotel has en-suite rooms and the rooms are clean, but a bit dated. The breakfast was great because they started serving at 7am and you can get an evening meal if you wanted to.And there is a bar which sells reasonable priced beer for that part of the country.Overall it is great for contractors.

Friendly enough staff, easy car parking and a good breakfast.
Room was rather tired and shared toilet and bathroom was none too clean. Wifi not working but only one night so not a huge problem.

Location to Heathrow - It is conveinient. The rooms are in genral quite clean. The place looks a bit rundown I think if the hotel was refurbished the cost would not seem quite as bad,
The price seemed high overall. The polace was rundown and needs doing up.
